| Day 1 Arrival at Lake Maggiore Pick up at Milan train station/airport/hotel and transfer to Stresa, which is a lovely town at the shore of Lake Maggiore. Settle at your hotel and time on your own Day 2 Borromean Islands Board your boat from Stresa harbor to Isola Bella and Fishermen Island and visit the extraordinary Palace and gardens. Sumptuous rooms filled with paintings and ornate furniture make it easy to imagine the parties and balls that were once held there. Relax and take beautiful pictures in the Fishermen Island, which is a tiny piece of land full of little restaurants and shops. Return to your hotel in the afternoon Day 3 Scenic train ride in Switzerland & Lake Maggiore cruise Today you experience a fascinating train journey from Stresa to Locarno (Switzerland) through the picturesque “One Hundred Valleys”, passing deep gorges and glittering waterfalls. Travels across colorful alpine meadows, over 83 bridges, and through vineyards and forests of chestnut trees. Visit the lovely town of Locarno and take a cable car to the sanctuary of "Madonna del Sasso", which is one of the leading attractions in the Swiss town, also due to its marvelous view of Lake Maggiore. Return to Stresa with an unforgettable sunset cruise along the Lake Maggiore. A day to remember! Day 4 Como - Bellagio Departure for Bellagio along a scenic route with a stop in Como for a nice walk. The lake is surrounded by mountains and hills and dotted with beautiful villas and resort villages. Settle at your hotel in Bellagio, "the pearl of Lake Como" Day 5 Bellagio Full day to explore Bellagio where you can visit the spectacular Villa Carlotta and its gardens. Set in an ideal position where the two legs of Lake Como come together, Bellagio has panoramic lake views. There's a pretty lakeside promenade that leads to Villa Melzi with its beautiful gardens. The village has picturesque stone lanes and stairways with shops, gelato bars, cafes, and restaurants Day 6 Sirmione Late morning departure to Sirmione driving along the right wing of the lake on a scenic road near the town of Lecco. Picturesque villages, medieval castles, and lakeside promenades dot the shoreline. Settle at your hotel in Sirmione on the shore of Garda Lake, Italy's largest and most visited lake Day 7 Sirmione - Lake Garda Full day at leisure in Sirmione. The old part of town is a maze of stepped streets lined with delis, eateries and silk shops. Beyond the medieval castle you can find pleasant lakeside terraces, beaches and a headland of olive trees and cypresses. At the end of the peninsula lies the famous Grotta di Catullo, the ruins of a vast Roman villa Day 8 Verona - Venice In the morning departure for Verona and see the famous Romeo and Juliet's Balcony as well as the many attractions of the town, like the Roman Arena and the city center.
